Brian Hofacker is hosting the ESO’s Irish Poetry Reading on Friday, April 17th at 7:00. Bring poems about Ireland, from Ireland, or tangentially related to Ireland. You’re also free to bring Irish food and Irish liquor. (Or regular liquor.) Or just come hang out and watch!
Profs. Martin and Radetich might possibly perhaps maybe be in attendance.
If you take Patco, let Brian know and he can pick you up from Lindenwold Station. Anyone near Runnemede can hitch a ride with me, too. If you have any problems finding Brian’s house, or need a ride from Patco, give him a call at 609-413-1260.
Click here or on the map below for directions.
(The Google street view of Laurel Springs is off by a few blocks; stick with the regular map.)

Confusion is fun, but it can also be confusing, which is what makes it fun….
Okay, I guess I should properly invite everyone to the poetry reading Friday night. Honestly, although I can buy useless things on Ebay like nobody’s business, I’m not very blog-smart so I don’t even know if anyone will read this.
Anyhoo, 7:00 is great, I’m home 6-ish, but if anyone needs to be earlier just let me know (always looking for an excuse to leave work early). Or Cathy will be there earlier to greet (Hey, Catt, can you be there early). In my younger and better looking days I held quite a few get-togethers (I was going to say “soirée”, but I’m not really sure what that word means) so expect a ton of food and drink. If anyone has any special requests, please let me know.
Please feel free to bring significant others or friends that would be interested.
There is also a Wii and I just got a new documentary about F. Scott Fitzgerald (on Ebay) in case we run out of poems. I haven’t seen the documentary but I heard he dies at the end. And I’m terrible at Wii.
I know that directions are available online but if anyone would like me to draw them a map and email it, please let me know. I draw wicked cool rail road tracks (I use a ruler and all).
Also, if anyone is taking PATCO, I’m only five minutes away and can make a pick up and drop off.
I’m looking forward to seeing everyone. I hope you all can make it.
B!

I heard there is an alternate ending…jk. I will bring Irish whiskey, Vodka [not so Irish] and something good besides my great greeting abilities apparently.
I draw happy little trees but I think i learned that from that guy on PBS.

I hope everyone had a good time. Thanks for coming (and listening to my long winded pointless stories).

The long-winded pointless stories were the best part!!
