Okay, gang. This is shaping up to be the coolest thing we do all semester.
Next Wednesday, April 15th, and 4:30 PM, we’re showing “The Linguists” in the faculty lounge on the third floor of Armitage Hall. We’re having pizza, and so far the following people are bringing the following items:
Caitlin- cups, napkins, plates, cutlery, tablecloth
Cathy- chips
Jessica- cookies
Marisa- possibly chips and dip
Michael- sodas, possibly pretzels
Me (Sarah)- cupcakes
Lisa- possibly candy
We still need a few more people to help set up the room. Could anyone get there around 4:00? There’s another group using the room until 4:30, but we would win if we fought them. (We’re armed with deadly anthologies.) And can any of you bring popcorn? If you’re bringing anything else, email me!
Unfortunately, Professor Epstein has a meeting in New Brunswick that afternoon. He’s going to try to make it back in time for our screening, which would behoove him considering that Caitlin is working on a plot to forcibly kidnap him from New Brunswick. Remember, we’re armed with deadly anthologies, and she knows karate.
One of the stars of the movie, K. David Harrison, will probably be speaking. We’re waiting for a confirmation; I’ll keep you posted.
